Observe music is a fully functional music player, which invites the listener to consume sounds with more awareness. In this semester project I tried to find new forms of musical interactions concerning the increasing demand and supply of streamed music.

The player resembles a gramophone. The cone begins to rotate and music plays once the observer lays a metal ball into the starting hole. Inside the cones wall is a helix, which allows the ball to roll toward the center, like a needle of a record player. In the end, the ball appears in the front tray and is ready to repeat the play.
